Welcome | Nau mai, haere mai
At the Nelson Tasman Youth Workers Collective (NTYWC), we’re here to support the people and organisations who work with young people across our region. Since 1985, our goal has been to strengthen the youth sector by making it more connected, professional, vibrant, and equipped to guide rangatahi toward positive futures.
We offer:
-
Quality training and professional development
-
Opportunities to connect, share, and grow through sector-wide networking
-
Trusted information and navigation support to help young people access the services they need
Our services are free or low-cost, easy to access, and open to anyone working with rangatahi in the Nelson Tasman region.
"Together, we’re building a community that uplifts
and empowers youth - one connection at a time".
NTYWC Training and Events
Grow your skills, connect with others, and stay inspired. Our training and events calendar includes workshops, hui, and learning opportunities designed to strengthen youth work practice across the Nelson Tasman region.
Wellness Hui For Youth Development Workers
The Wellness Hui provides youth development workers with the tools and knowledge so they can better support rangatahi they work alongside. The format of the day will include a selection of presentations and workshops from specialist health practitioners, along with activities to refresh mind, body and soul. View the panui here.
