Supporting Children and Young People with the Experience of Loss and Grief | Online

Gain an understanding of the issues, impacts, and supports that are relevant for children and young people who are going through experiences of loss and grief.  This workshop is targeted at professionals who are working with children and youth in a variety of settings, who are wanting to build their confidence and competence around the issue of loss and grief.

Understanding, Supporting and Empowering Together - Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD)

Join us for a powerful day of learning, sharing and building collective strength around Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder(FASD).  Dr Leigh Henderson - FASD-Can Chairperson, Cristina Fon - Clinical Psychologist and Kirsty Griffith - Educational Psychologist will share their insights and experiences of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder and its impact on the community and how by growing our understanding we can build capacity across our community to support individuals with FASD and their whanau.

Child Rich Communities: The power of whānau and rangatahi-driven community change | Online

Te Pae Urungi (Wesley Community Action) and The Dunedin Plunket Hub Kotahitaka will share how they’re engaging with rangatahi and whānau, creating spaces of belonging, and overcoming challenges along the way. They'll explore the changes they’ve seen for whānau, rangatahi, and tamariki – and what’s made a difference.
