For more than 40 years, The Nelson Tasman Youth Workers Collective has been supporting, connecting and strengthening youth workers and the wider youth sector across the Nelson Tasman region. As a member-led organisation, we exist to ensure the youth development sector is well equipped to support rangatahi to thrive.

Membership of the Nelson Tasman Youth Workers Collective has many benefits, including;

• >Preferential enrolment and waived fees to Nelson Tasman Youth Workers Collective trainings and professional development initiatives.   The Collective provides a minimum of 4 trainings each year which is designed in consultation with our members and the wider youth sector.  Wellness Hui, Positive Youth Development, RAP, Neurodiversity are training activities planned for the coming months.

• > 12 month subscription to the Rāngai Rangatahi Ramere Panui, fortnightly newsletter with information of relevance to youth workers and the youth sector. Get your services/notices in the inbox of over 500 subscribers across the youth sector.

• >Complementary hire of sound and video equipment (conditions apply).

• >An invitation to profile your agency, your services and the great mahi you do at our Nelson Tasman Connections Hui.   Our bi-monthly Connections Hui brings together youth-focused service providers from across the region, spanning health, education, employment, training, and recreation.  These gatherings are a chance to connect, share insights, collaborate, and stay informed about what’s happening in the youth sector.

• >Access to a growing network of youth sector champions through our navigation services. Connect, collaborate and source information, services and resources for rangatahi and whanau.  We've created a directory of local and national agencies that offer services for young people, as well as organisations that support those working within the youth sector.
